Stress Relief Training
In cooperation with certified trainers, AISSR offers stress relief training in the form of Yoga classes.
The stress that comes from academic life is nothing new. Academics have to find ways to deal with stress and release their bodies and minds after long hours of sitting still behind a screen. One way for dealing with these struggles is thorugh yoga and meditation. Yoga helps to get to know the body and release tensions that build up over the day, meditation helps to clear the mind and reduce stress.
Nanke Verloo, certified Yoga teacher, teaches Yoga Classes on Wednesdays from 11.30 - 12.00 uur in the Common Room of Political Science, B-building, 9th Floor. Yoga classes are open to AISSR staff.
