I am a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR) and affiliated with the program group Institutions, Inequalities and Life courses (IIL). My research interests include family sociology, life course research, young adulthood, and quantitative data anlysis.

In my PhD project, I study heterogeneity in leaving home. I use longitudinal panel data to examine the role of family background on causes and effects of (the age of) leaving home. My PhD project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Matthijs Kalmijn and Dr. Thomas Leopold.

I hold a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences, major: Social Sciences (University College Utrecht) and a Research Master's degree in Social Sciences (University of Amsterdam).
