    Karen Kraal serves as Science Communication Advisor/Press Officer at the University of Amsterdam's Bureau of Communication. In this role, she facilitates scientists in effectively disseminating their expertise to diverse audiences and media outlets. Additionally, she oversees the Science Communication Project within the University's Communication Programme.

    With extensive experience in both research and science communication, Karen has crafted communication tools and training programmes tailored to engage both academic and non-academic audiences. Her expertise lies in bridging the gap between the scientific community and the public, ensuring a more accessible and impactful exchange of knowledge.
