Byamah Mutamba investigates the effectiveness of a lay community led intervention to increase access to evidence-based mental healthcare within a low resourced government health system in Uganda. He focuses specifically on group interpersonal psychotherapy for caregivers of children affected by nodding syndrome in northern Uganda.
