Amanda Mokoena is a doctoral candidate in a collaborative project working between South Africa and the Netherlands on the water, energy, food nexus in urban South Africa. Having obtained an MPhil in African Studies (2022) from the University of Cape Town, Amanda’s research is inspired by methodologies that marry urban African Studies, African Feminisms and Anthropology.
